While not the inner-city confrontation, he brought the inner-city attitude with him to the stop. He thought he was going to go to jail, didn’t want to do that, so he shot the cop and ran. I doubt he put any more thought into it than that, because he’s probably not capable of any thinking at a higher level than the animal he is.

Occam’s Razor: the simplest answer is usually the right one.

you're right ...probably low intelligence....poor impulse control...poor critical thinking of that dirty, dirty, word...consequences....

but he needs to be out of society forever and never to breed again with his ilk...
