Jeb Bush is deploying his "secret weapon" in a new video designed to appeal to Hispanic voters.
A new video released by the campaign Monday shows Bush speaking in Spanish and his wife, Columba Bush, speaking in English in her most expansive comments to date on her husband's behalf.
Entirely in Spanish, the candidate says: "The United States of America is a great country. Thanks to the people that come from all over the world, contributing to our economy and community. To me, Hispanic culture is very important and positive."
His wife, who was born in Mexico, adds in English: "I have lived over half my life here. We all have the same interests, the same feelings."
She adds later: "We go to church every Sunday. We have celebrations with the family and we keep our traditions. But at the end its just that, faith, friends and family."
In conclusion, Bush adds: "Hispanics contribute more every day to our culture; they are an integral part of the American dream. For these reasons and more, I invite you to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month because we are all Americans."
The ad is timed to the start of Hispanic Heritage Month, which begins Wednesday and stretches into mid-October a period during which most Central American and South American countries mark their independence days.

Thanks Jim. I had a bad headache and incredibly hard laughter releases endorphins that kill pain :)
Donald Trump is going to beat you like a Piñata.
Ted Cruz’s secret weapon is his wife. Tomorrow, Marco Rubio’s secret weapon wil be blah blah blah...
Which country is Jeb running for President? I can’t tell. My Spanish is a little rusty.
“We go to church every Sunday.”
What church will that be, pray tell?
**would that be
Trumps secret weapon is workin’ his large mojo on the media.
Many years ago long before immigration was an issue, a cousin of mine told me that our founding documents could not be properly translated and understood in Spanish because of the inadequacy of that language for that task.
Was she a Hispanophobe? Hardly. She and her family travelled extensively in Mexico and Central America. She taught English to Spanish speaking immigrants and hosted exchange students from Central America.
She was actively involved in campaigning to make English out official language.
So, speak English, Jeb.
Is that real, Castilian Spanish, or Mexican espanol, or an illegal’s dilect?
It’s nice and appropriate that Jeb reach out to our Hispanic citizens. He is not going to be president.
So this is good practice for his job as Goodwill Ambassador.
El arbusto idiota! Can he get any dumber? He’s pissed off his entire base to pander to a segment of the electorate that will never vote for him anyway, even on the off chance that the GOPe steals him the nomination.
~That~ was funny!
hmmm nothing about hispanics not relying on welfare being a part of his[anic traditions
[Thanks to the people that come from all over the world, contributing to our economy and community.]
Hey, idiot Jeb. What about people BORN in America?
Do you care about them? Of course not; that’s why you’re at 5%.
We ain’t putting you nor any other Bush near the WH ever again.
Comprende señor?
IOW....’pew ornaments’ as I call them.
Why give up a senate seat for a longshot?
Was he not expected to win again?
Oh, and trying to sell other idiots a guacamole bowl for $75.
This guy goes way out of his way it seems to prove just how disconnected he is. Is there really no one on his staff that has the nerve to tell him how stupid he looks? I almost think he was supposed to throw the match to Hildabeast and since she is melting down he doesn’t know what to do.
Maybe it would help if he would give Canklelady an award for bravery landing under sniper fire.
Yeb! is whoring his wife out for mexican votes? Poor form, dude. Weak!
