That's a good catch. There are thousands of little subtleties like that too. I remember hearing the phrase "Israeli war planes". That phrase was always used to make you think they were war mongers. The language is carefully architected to support the left narrative.

The problem really is what are they going to do with all these people????? Processing them all is obviously impossible.....there are just too many, and too many still coming....log jams everywhere and total grid lock on the countries they are in.
Of course one easily wonders that this was the plan to begin with...just overwhelm with people til countries are forced to comply.
Now Merkle is saying if the poor countries, and others don't take the quota's she's determined she wants the EU to discontinue all their foreign aide...which is "black mail".
Everyone should get a feel about this because this is how a dictator operates....be it one individual with their advisors or not.
In their minds it's all everyone elses fault...not that they ran like cowards from fighting their own war...or even taking up a gun to begin with...this is the face of cowards!...
