Ping!
We can always just refer to him as a saint (like Saint Pius IX and Saint Pius XII); I no longer let a political Pope determine who is worthy of that honor. The fast-tracking of JPII while Pius IX and Pius XII are ignored was absurd.
Yep, the Ustashi were SAINTS.
Whatever you, DO NOT look at photos listed under Ustashi on any search engine.
You will lose your lunch-—many times over.
Even the Germans were sickened bu what the Ustashi did in WWII.
NO ONE can trust this pope, or his ability to stick to his word long-term.
However, two REAL saints—Serbian-American ones—were glorified last week!!!!

Glory to God!!!!
President Nikolic’s remarks that Serbia could serve as a “a bridge between the [Russian] Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church.” were feckless at best.
He should remember the warnings against ecumenism from St. Justin [Popovic] of Celje:

I’m sure that Patriarch Irinej—and several other Serbian Bishops—could set him straight!!!!
Quite okay. There's no great rush to declare Pope Francis is a Catholic, either.
