True story!
Do not ever think a physician knows more than you. Many are not trained in CPR! While that physician was kneeling and just LOOKING at the 12 year old, who was not breathing and whose lips were blue, I arrived, knelt down and simply lifted the kid’s chin. He began breathing and all the color came back.
I was working as a flight attendant at the time. The parents wrote to the airline (United) and thanked the physician. Said he was a hero.
Whatever.
