Carly Fiorina's claims of motherhood and 'secretary to CEO' rise to the top come under fire
Dailymail ^ | 9/14/2015 | Laura Collins

But now Carly Fiorina's story has been put in doubt by the man she was with at the very start of her rise.

Todd Bartlem, who went on to become Fiorina's first husband, accuses her of creating a misleading mythology and 'losing her humanity' for a 'pathological' pursuit of power.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Online, he said: 'It's not like she was a secretary for 15 years and rose up. She dropped out of law school, she settled on business school. It was all very planned.

'She's a very calculating person and her risks paid off but whenever I read descriptions about her life there'd always be this bit that she rose from a secretary at a real estate company to the head of AT&T…

'I mean she had a part-time position when she quit law school and she had to have money to pay the rent, so she worked as a secretary to a real estate firm in Palo Alto, but it was incidental.'

Interesting bio. You wonder if all her positions are just convenient intellectual exercises to get her where she wants to go. She sounds like Hillary Clinton. You have to have a tough person as president, but are her beliefs core beliefs stepping stones to power? Once she wins will she do like all establishment Republicans and forget all about what she said and believed? Let's not forget she worked for McCain and Romney.

And she’s a proven election loser. Not even coming close.

Her wealthy father paid for her law school. He was a professor of law at 3 colleges, and a senior judge on the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Anyone who thinks she will deliver female votes need only look at Palin in 2008; she was completely marginalized as a buffoon by the lib media. When I look at libs even mentioning Fiorina, I know they would love to have her as the Repub candidate - very easy to defeat.

Doesn't sound like she would have dated boys from the outer boroughs does it?

My impression of Cay is that she is a very cold, calculating opportunist that throws people out once she no longer has a use for them.

The very first interview I saw with her a couple of months back, I was kind of intrigued. She was coming out hitting Hillary pretty hard at the time. I wanted to know more. She sounded pretty good in her interview with Couric that I saw. But watching her in the debate last night, I changed my opinion. She seems cold and calculated. I don’t trust her. I don’t think she would make a good president. I hope her numbers stay low, but I’m seeing more and more talk about her since last night.

The problem with Fiorina is that she is a socialist. A Marxist. One who likes to enjoy the benefits of capitalism while expecting everyone else to 'give' her that capital.

In fairness, she made some good points during the debate, and demonstrated that she invested time and effort to be prepared for the debate. I also think the HP story Is one of those 50/50 things. She had some accomplishments, some failures, but part of the failures could have been because the 'good ole boys club' did everything they could to get her to fail. I would imagine all the men who 'were' in line to become head of the company resented that it was 'given' to her.

As far as her 'face', she is just as pretty as any other female talking head on the MSM networks (that's how you start a cat fight, Freepers).

Actually, I'm kinda attracted to her..

I call her Stepford styled, automated. She is “useful” as long as she can run her mouth against Hillary. But, after that, Carly is weird.

Not a fan of Fiorina or her leadership of HP and Lucent, but ...

If she worked as a secretary to put herself through business school, how is the claim that she worked as a secretary untrue? And why is it ‘calculating’ to plan to her career in steps?

Man I really do not like her after reading this. I wasn’t too big on her before this either.

The more and more talk you see about her is a team effort by the media and the establishment Republicans to make her look big. Mark Levin in his first hour tonight explained how it all works. It is all fake. FioRino was so well prepared you wonder if she got the questions in advance.

Here is Levin’s show link for today. First hour really worth listening to because it tells you what really happened in the debate and what the strategy was. Very enlightening. Basically he said they are taking out all the candidates and will have Bush rise from the ashes. Well worth the listen.

Carly is going to need a “war room”, with more of this kind of complaint coming out against her and testimony of those close to her, which reportedly are very *few* in number. No old friends, no friends at all, that don’t serve a utilitarian purpose.

She may be of the deadly corporate type— soulless.

By the way, her biggest donor was a past president of Univision! Wait until that gets around and sinks in. No wonder she is a squish on illegals. She knows who is writing her checks. Radical La Raza Univision.

The difference in Palin and Carly is about a 100 I points. Palin was marginalized as a buffoon by the media because she was buffoon and miles over her head.
