I'm not as timid about sitting in the sun as you are. In the summer, I'll suntan for a few hours every day it's sunny enough. It's between 10:30 and 1:00 and inland, so my tanning is healthy and looks great. The wrinkles?....I probably don't have many more than others my age, and the overall healthy appearance of my skin more than compensates.

My dog walks me A LOT, I'm not shy about sleeveless tops and shorts when it's warm enough, I eat plenty of vegetables as part of a diet that's worked out real well.

Result? I'm a few days short of 70, and I don't think I've ever been healthier. I think were on to something....all those people following advice and hiding themselves away from getting any direct sun at all might have done themselves more harm than good.

Good for you.

I’m glad to hear that works for you. I’m not convinced several hours is good for you, but it’s your life and you should be making the decisions.

Be careful. I’d like to have you around for a lot longer...
