The Army higher-ups rewrote eligibility levels for women in forward combat units because they were failing to meet the traditional standards of success with a full combat load pack. Instead of grenades, they are now allowed to carry lipstick and a facial powder compact (OK I made that up but I’m close to the truth on this).
The Navy has Ray Mabus as SecNav, who is facing a full officer revolt against his bath-tub navy plan, women on submarines, and his general spineless policies of not challenging the Red Chinese ship-lanes aggression.
THe Air Force. Want more fancy planes, like the F35, that can’t carry out their original missions, cost more than a solid gold Cadillac, and won’t last a minute against a Red Chinese “swarm” attack. The Air Force Academy is so PC and sexually correct that it getting to be more like the Stonewall Bar than the AF Academy.
The Marines are caving in like an oven cake when the door has been slammed. JCS head Martin Dempsey, a Marine, sounded more like Mr. Magoo than Gen. Howling Smith. There’s a major revolt among its leaders going on right now.
Don’t look for much about it in the NY Times and Wash. Post, though I think the WaPo actually did one article hinting at troubles in Marineland. CNN. Doubt it. MSNBC - No doubt about it - red crickets.
