Funny anecdote...when my wife was getting her PhD in chemistry, she shared lab space with a gen-u-wine hippy pacifist, who went on and on about how violence was bad, never accomplished anything. Then he came upon some enterprising Amish citizen liberating the radio from his van. He ended up chasing the guy down the street with a baseball bat.
