Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson says Islam is antithetical to the Constitution, and he doesn't believe that a Muslim should be elected president.
Carson, a devout Christian, says a president's faith should matter to voters if it runs counter to the values and principles of America.
Responding to a question during an interview broadcast Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press," he described the Islamic faith as inconsistent with the Constitution.
"I would not advocate that we put a Muslim in charge of this nation," Carson said. "I absolutely would not agree with that."

OMG, this is exactly what I have been trying to tell people for years. Thank you, Dr. Carson. The tenets of Islam are indeed antithetical and incompatible with our western Judeo-Christian heritage and ethos. And the end result if Islam ever became widespread would be that we would have to rescind the religious protections of the First Amendment, just in order to keep Muslims from committing “honor killings”, female genital mutilation, wife beating, etc., etc.
"One student told Trump that she considered Muslim-Americans to be an important segment of the country. They asked whether the billionaire businessman would consider putting a Muslim in his Cabinet or on his ticket.
"Oh, absolutely," Trump responded. "No problem with that."
He's absolutely correct about this. Good for Carson.
I wrote him off after his visit to Ferguson.
Maybe I shouldn’t have been so hasty.
That being said, I still plan to vote for Trump.
Carson’s position on this matter certainly trumps Trump’s.

Ironically, if they could reform, they’d be a damn-good bunch. They are very productive and smart (i.e., they do better economically in this country than average Americans and nearly as well as Asians). They also can be a lot of fun to hang out with. But this Jihad stuff needs to end, now.

Islam cannot be “reformed.” The rules and tenets are spelled out and reiterated in the Koran and Haditha. With any reformation it must cease to be Islam. Reforming Islam would be analagous to “reforming” Christianity into Buddhism.
Everyone should learn about the Barbary pirates and the naval wars we fought to suppress them.

It posibly predates Mohammed. There is more work to be done. It would be in keeping with M’s persona to have totally cribbed someone else’s work, perhaps after beheading him or wiping out his small sect.
They should not be elected to anything. They are destructive and evil.
If I recall correctly when asked who he voted for in 2008 he said he didn’t vote, and he certainly did not vote for that arrogant pos occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave

Not as bad as voting FOR Obama, but still being one of the 4 million enablers that allowed Obama to win.
