I would never vote third party, because that is a waste. I have voted for John Anderson who was Independent in the 1980 TN Primaries but voted for Ronald Reagan in the General Election and both times in 1984.

I always vote for the nominee.

I have held my nose too, in one general election when I voted for Bush41 but have actually not regretted voting for him. One thing for sure. I have never voted for a rat candidate and never will

I’m not sure that I ever did accuse you of undercutting conservatism - you’re one of the top posters here. I was just noting that Carson sitting out an election cycle is basically giving half a vote to the Democrat.

But to correct myself a bit, I have voted for Democrats at the state level in Texas, just to try to stop Perry, who was an ABSOLUTE LOSER here.
