Of course - he’s one of their most valuable players....
He should change look party and stop charades.
This is the best argument that the jackass must go.
The way Boehner runs things already, I doubt that we'd see any real difference.
The Uniparty strikes again!
PING!
We have a winner!
(GOP funding for a Cruz campaign will be anemic. Think Ken Cuccinelli.)
and this is the #1 reason he shouldn’t be our speaker
CNN a Democrat outlet posing as news.
That is all you need to know.
Liberals support Boehner.
Then let’s move forward with the motion to vacate the chair and get this on the record.
Oh plenty of us have told y’all how to avoid a repeat. We told you how to avoid this current ‘peat’. The trouble is that nost conservatives in name only keep electing ‘lesser evils’ and then screaming bloody murder about the situations they themselves CAUSED.
Or pretending to be upset at minimum. Because it appears they got exactly the government they wanted.
You don't sell out your country because you have a few questionable campaign donations. If somebody recorded you doing little boys on a snuff film... Not sayin' that's what he did--just sayin' it must be REALLY bad.
Bhoner and Mitch and Romney and the rest of the hard Left GOP don’t need to be blackmailed. They are down with the struggle. I don’t know why people have to have blackmail to explain what they see openly.
The liberals do not need to blackmail a fellow traveler.
“....If the man had any shame he would step down...”
Ain’t about shame.
It’s about Power, and Agenda, and how to further the revolution. Always has been for the Left.
Boehner is a tool for them, nothing more. They’ll use him and then throw him aside when he’s served their purpose.
Good analysis, but I disagree that Cruz has any chance whatsoever of being accepted by the party apparatchiks. They’d much rather throw the election to their comrades-in-arms in the rat faction of the uniparty. Conversely, if Cruz were to figure out some way to get the apparatchiks acceptance, he would be cursed as a turncoat by conservatives (I already think he is, but that’s another story).
Ultimately your question on whether conservatives decide to just suck it up is a good one. Past performance usually predicts future performance, but you never know. I can only speak for myself: I’m morally, philosophically, and increasingly pragmatically opposed to voting.
If the republican party controls the house, why aren’t they allowed to solely vote on their speaker. Shouldn’t that be one of the perks of winning control?
If Boehner is saved by Democrats, that is a vote of no confidence and he must resign
Natch.
