OK already?

The article states: “and strapped to wooden chairs before they were lynched.”

Well? Were they strapped to chairs and then lynched or were they strapped to chairs, burned alive and then lynched? I’m confused!!!!!!!!!

How do you lynch someone who is toast?

I was hoping I wasn’t the only one who was confused about that.

They were lynched by being burned to death. Lynching does not necessarily mean hanging, though hanging is a common method.

lynched does not mean hanged or strung up.Lynched is the act of punishing someone without the benefit of a trial.Mob justice is a style of lynching.
