When FDR appointed Joseph Kennedy Sr. to be the first head of the SEC, he said, “it takes a thief to catch a thief.”
I guess thee same logic might apply to DT. It takes someone from the establishment to take on the establishment.

If so, I hope he has an avenging grudge against them.

I wouldn’t count on it.

DT is an establishment guy who talks like a populist.

He is not a conservative, although he sounds like one now because he is trying to secure the GOP nomination.

DT is every bit as establishment as the Rockefellers, and richer than most of them.

He writes big checks to both parties, including Pelousy, Reid, and the Clintons.

He has flip flopped on every issue imaginable. He has done jack diddly squat for the conservative movement over the years.

DT may be a lot of things to a lot of different people. One thing he is not is a reliable conservative. His egomania, narcissism, and campaign platitudes remind me of the current occupant of the WH.
