Is there any value to the Cruz campaign from this? We know that Cobert is a died-in-the-wool liberal. He's shown that he will be rude and boorish to Conservatives on many occasions. His audience, we can be pretty sure, are liberal too.

I know that name recognition is important, but it's still letting the LibTard media play gate keeper.

Would Colbert ever ask a lib like Hillary or Obama why conservatives should vote for him.

The entire GOP has worn out the "Reagan" thing, totally. Even I'm sick of it, and I love Reagan. And it doesn't really work, Cobert turns it totally around on him.

I think this event was a failure for Ted Cruz. It's a no win situation, because on the one hand he's a very serious opposition political operative set on making Ted look bad, on the other, he's a Comedian. His insults are "jokes" and objecting to them makes you look thin skinned.

Cruz knows the Constitution. His answers were great, he demonstrated his knowledge, he stayed calm. But I still think the set up for him (and all GOP nominees) is BS.

Looking forward to Trump on Cobert. He's not dedicated to being perceived as friendly and nice. Could be fun!

Exactly.

Nailed it. A no win proposition for Cruz.
