I think Trump is settling into the Ron Paul of this primary. He has the crankiest message, the kookiest supporters and the establishment looks on him with confusion, dismissiveness and occasionally as a sort of strange, lovable uncle. He could come third in Iowa.
Carson is winning the social conservative angle. Huckabee and Santorum simply are being dismissed as failures. And Cruz just seems to be being dismissed for simply looking too much like a politician. And he doesn’t seem to have focused on Iowa as his number one target, which seems like a mistake to me.
The establishment choice is in flux. Seems like their new goal is to settle on one name by February. Walker sent that message loud and clear. But Bush, Rubio and Fiorina are struggling to get that position while Kasich and Christie are nibbling at their crumbs. One thing’s for sure, the establishment choice will spend a ton of money in Iowa and probably get 2nd place just as Romney did by slamming Trump, Carson and Cruz.
I don't know, I see him more as the Perry Como of politics.
“The only people who seem to like Trump are the voters.”
The people who are frantic at Trump for speaking the truth are living a lie.
This early caucus is a precint caucus for he 1700+ precincts to elect delegates. These
delegates go the County Convention on March 10 where they elect delegates to attend the district
caucus on April 21 and the state convention on June 21. At the state convention they elect a fewer
number of delegates to attend the Republican Convention in August. At this convention the delegates
cast votes for the eventual nominee...
A lot of caucusing to get nominees for the National Convention.

Well Cruz is at 6% which must mean that 94% against him.
But only if I was to accept your silly premise.
This is not surprising. Trump’s lead is mainly attributable to the vote being split over more than a dozen candidates. It is an artificial lead. I expect his numbers to dissolve as soon as the culling occurs.
I truly believe Ben Carson will go the way of Herman Cain. At least in Iowa. Much of his support will probably go to Cruz and Rubio.
I suspect that the economy and the markets are going to do much, much worse by election time like a 5000 Dow for example. If this comes to pass President Trump will be a shoo in.
Iowa is a strange cat, being really a regular blue state with an electorate that is partial to religious platitudes. Trump will sweep the South even if he takes second place in Iowa.
Well I guess he better give up and save his money.
The key statistic is that 54% prefer one of the top three candidates - none of whom have held elective office. Big government insiders are being rejected.
If that Donald Trump keeps on as he is going.......He will only win with 99 % of the vote....and it serves him right
Business Insider is a trash liberal site. Anyone, including you, your gardener, your grandma and your dog, can write for this hack website. Writers get paid pennies for each click on their stupid articles.

What’s a hundred million to someone who says he is worth a0 Billion? I say milk the occasion for all you can.

Herman Cain could have gone a long way had he not imploded due to the women problems he was facing.
