Hillary Clinton is blasting Donald Trump's "ludicrous" claim that she was the first to question President Barack Obama's birthplace.
"First of all, it's totally untrue. And secondly, you know, the president and I have never had any kind of confrontation like that," she said in an interview on the Tom Joyner Morning Show.
"That is so ludicrous," she told interviewer Don Lemon, who asked her about Trump's assertion that Clinton's 2008 campaign sparked the "birther movement."

During the bitter 2008 Democratic primary campaign, rumors raged that Clinton supporters were swapping email chains raising questions about Obama's heritage. A photo of Obama dressed in Somali garb was circulated to the Drudge Report, sparking suspicion that it was leaked by Clinton operatives.
Also, in 2007, then-Clinton adviser Mark Penn suggested in an internal campaign memo that the Clinton team highlight Barack Obama's "otherness."

There have been a few lawsuits over Obama’s birth status and related issues. None have gone anywhere in court.
But, the very first such lawsuit filed was filed by Philip Berg, who is a Democrat operative. He was a Hillary supporter in 2008.
Facts are stubborn things. Why did a good Democrat who supported Hillary file a lawsuit over Obama’s citizenship status???? Who gave him that idea, what prompted him to do that???

The article that came out yesterday about her emails where found was a way to shut her up and down...if she doesn't quit knocking obuma, she will be in Prison...maybe not by this administration, but by the new one coming in, depending of course, who it is....
She knows, as we all know, that she can't lie her way out of this one, to many people have the story and they can run it all day long...her protection is finished...

True. Everything the Clintons say and do is qualified in some way. All of their language has to be parsed and sentences diagrammed, to try to discern the actual truth, and what they are hiding.
Off topic, but is this Clintonian nonsense part of why Hillary is sinking in the polls? If Hillary were elected president, we would have four to eight years of this nonsense of parsed language, new scandals, irregularities, calls for investigations, etc.
Do even Democrats have Clinton fatigue and not want to listen to Hillary for 4 to 8 years????
You sound right, and I think if she goes down she will be mad enough to take Obama with her. Especially if she thinks he will not pardon her.
