I just did some research on this. What they are doing is called ‘stoning the Devil’, in which tens of thousands of people crowd close enough to stone pillars to be able to throw rocks at it.
The pillars by the way are supposedly a phallus, which is the seed of Satan. So they are essentially throwing rocks at the Devil’s man parts.
One other piece of trivia. The muzzies believe that just about any pillar is a satanic phallus...especially the Washington Monument.
