In point of fact, Hussein made the US an offer for him to step down. He saw the writing, and wanted to bail. You know the rest.
Yeah, but doing something without knowing the outcome can be really bad when dealing with national security.
For example, Trump was on the radio the other day and was asked how he would deal with a situation where the Taliban took over Pakistan with all of their nukes. His response? "Well, I would work with other countries, especially India because they have nukes too."
Anyone who has paid any attention in that area of the world knows that India and Pakistan are mortal enemies. If you wanted to be certain that the radicals in Pakistan could unify that country under their rule, there would be no better way than to have India get involved. That would be a recipe for WW3.
That is the problem with Trump spouting off without knowing what he is talking about. Now, Pakistan has to worry that a Trump presidency means that he will support India taking action against them. Maybe that is not what he meant, and maybe that is no how he would act, but that is what he said publicly.
Obviously youre a TDSer.
++++
You may be on to something.
AND that is why Trump said he wanted to keep the enemy off-kilter and guessing. Why let enemies to know your plans? Let them get killed in their own jungles due to their wrong-guessing.
I thought so too until I found out that it's because he builds walls with big beautiful doors and hires people...........
Good point!
Seem to recall 200 top military leaders advising him not to withdraw from Iraq and leave a vacuum. Of course, he knew best or didn’t care or intentionally wanted to leave a vacuum. (probably the latter)
He needs to calm down and stop answering everything they throw at him. When he keeps responding to all and sundry he lets them control the narrative, dialogue, agenda etc.

Thanks for clarifying and to people like you for always on the lookout for misleading articles.
Really, how has it worked out with that Nobel Peace Prize winner the past 6+ years? Secondly, what does Marco Rubio know about international relations other than sitting in some committee meetings?
Tell me...
And what experience does Marco have in THESE issues, aside from allowing Iran to get nukes?
I think that had to do with the Iran deal but you can remember it the way you want. I will vote for someone based on what he believes rather than what he says he will believe after he talks to a bunch of guys who may or may not believe what I think. Think about it. I'm for just about anything when I talk to people who know more than I about any subject. Vote for me.
Let’s be honest, when running for President you do not have all the facts before you. You get that when briefed after elected. You may or may not be able to do what you say you will.
Let's be honest. I can only vote for someone who has a position. Future positions mean nothing to me as a intelligent voter.
As President he would have access that Obama or Rubio have. Stupid idiots think he has access to classified info now. Give me a break! And look at the mess Obama makes with the info at hand.
Imagine another candidate in any past election who could get away with saying he basically he knew little about the situation, but if elected would study the problem.
There are a number of multi billionaire liberals (Jobs, Gates, Steyer) who've created a lot of jobs as well. Should we elect them president on that basis?
