Luckily I already have my deuce and gama goat registered to drive in TX.
can you post links to what those are?
An acquaintance of mine in Georgia told me about the bridge's earlier incarnation and said it was the scariest drive of his life.
Rode the Seattle duck tour earlier this year. Tons of fun, but no road safety equipment like seat belts. Just life vests in overhead racks.
[...it was the scariest drive of his life.]
Tell me about it, it was a coming and going two lane bridge and shook like crazy.
Yikes!
That’s a good 4 lane bridge. Improperly divided into 6 lanes.
the vehicles used on those tours are now custom built for them, the old WW2 ones were retired. The ones I have been on look to be heavy steel now, definitely going to win a collision with a bus.
If it is the Aurora Bridge, then it is not I-5. Look W when crossing Lake Union from I-5 and you see the Aurora Bridge.
Yes, I know it isn’t I-5 but I can see why you might have thought that is what I meant.
It’s just that I do a lot of driving and still that bridge worries me.
The DUCK tours are FUN!! And this bridge is not nearly as scary as the FLOATING BRIDGE over Lake Washington!!!
It's 40 but then again, who is counting? I drive back and forth on that bridge every day and it really is dangerous but you try not to think about that. The city buses take two lanes when crossing the bridge. And there is nothing to protect you from head on crashes.
The deuce is a M35A2 2.5 ton truck and the Gama Goat is a 6 wheel drive articulating 3/4 ton truck.

The libtards here in WA never give up on gun control and Seattle is the worst, they’re infested with libs and commies. I live in southern WA where there’s a lot more sane people.
The Gama Goat looks like a lot of fun.
I really want a Unimog.
Unimog - I second that
No but guess who already banned the Ducks from their streets?
San Francisco.
It is illegal to have a driver be a "narrator", so banned they got.
Ripley entertainment bought this company Ride the Ducks only last December. Ripley is the company started by Robert Ripley of Ripleys believe it or not fame. What the hell were they thinking giving rides during a storm?
Oh damn, I thought this was about the drowning, this is about the accident on the brige
