Pope Francis, the head of the Roman Catholic Church, received on Monday an extraordinary rebuff from the top Catholic leader in southern Hungary, Bishop Laszlo Kiss-Rigo, who said the pontiff was wrong in saying that Catholics had a moral duty to help the hundreds of thousands of Middle Eastern refugees streaming into Europe.
"They're not refugees. This is an invasion," said Kiss-Rigo. "They come here with cries of 'Allahu Akbar.' They want to take over."
Europe is being overwhelmed by non-believers posing as refugees who pose a serious threat to the continent's "Christian, universal values," he said.
The bishop is not alone in his doubts and fears on the wave of Arabic-speaking foreigners crossing into European borders. Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban also sees the flow of migrants as a threat to predominantly Christian Europe.
At the risk of drawing global scorn, Orban has taken steps to try and halt the exodus of refugees mostly coming from Syria. He has restricted the flow of refugees, even throwing some of them into prison.
"I'm in total agreement with the prime minister," Kiss-Rigo said in an interview by the Washington Post on Monday.
The bishop said the many of the so-called refugees do not deserve assistance because they "have money."
They leave garbage along their path and refuse the food offered them by humanitarian workers, said Kiss-Rigo, who has been serving for nine years as bishop for southern Hungary, a region where some 800,000 Catholics live.
"Most of them behave in a way that is very arrogant and cynical," he said.
Kiss-Rigo said Pope Francis is greatly misinformed about what is really happening. He "doesn't know the situation," he said.
Earlier, the pope spoke before pilgrims and tourists in St. Peter's Square, appealing to parishes, convents and monasteries across Europe to be "neighbours" to the refugees.
"Faced with the tragedy of tens of thousands of refugees who are fleeing death by war and by hunger, and who are on a path toward a hope for life, the Gospel calls us to be neighbours to the smallest and most abandoned, to give them concrete hope," Pope Francis said.
"It's not enough to say 'Have courage, hang in there'," he added.
The Pope cited the example of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, who was born in Albania in Europe, but went to India to take care of the poorest of the poor.
"May every parish, every religious community, every monastery, every sanctuary in Europe host a family, starting with my diocese of Rome," Francis said.
He added that two parishes in Vatican will also shelter two families of refugees. A Vatican spokesman, Rev. Ciro Benedettini, said the Vatican is now in the process of deciding which families of refugees will be hosted.

The fact that Conclave selected this communist, begs an answer to “why did they select this guy as Pope?” After listening to what he said during his Congress pitch, it is probable there are MANY upset Catholics out there. And who is he to dictate to the American people that they should let in hoards of refugees?? And NO MENTION of the DemocRat horror stories that are the realities of their abortion mills? And NO MENTION of the ISIS savage hoards that kill Christians in mass. All to pander to the radical left and their minions. Sickening.

Leftists have taken over the Vatican sad to say. The Pope is also a leftist. I am Catholic but I am not a sheep. I will use the free will God gave me to make my own judgements and would like to remind Pope Francis that exercising judgement is what separates men from sheep.
The pope is bending over for the muslim devil hoards hoping that they will spare the vatican when europe falls.

This explains all of his foreign policy decisions over the years....was the plan all along.
1. Destabilize middle east, starting with Iraq.
2. Allow Islamic groups to flourish in the power vacuum.
3. Create millions of “refugees” fleeing failing states.
4. Take advantage of Europe’s immigration and welfare systems - trigger an “all of a sudden” wave of immigrants.
5. Have USA take “its share” - along with 100,000’s a year very quietly (except for Christians).
6. Concurrently create a southern border “crisis” requiring us to accommodate masses coming from South America.
This is an invasion of massive proportions. Nobody in a military uniform. Nobody firing a shot. Yet all these people will not assimilate to the local cultures but want to take it over.
How is this not treason????????????
...but isn't the Pope supposed to be perfect in matters of scripture/doctrine? As in, "not in matters of statecraft, military affairs or the motivations of those of another religion that is, generally speaking, antagonistic toward Christianity and Catholicism."
IOW, I think that this Bishop has hit the proverbial nail on the head, and that ON THIS MATTER, the Pope's head is, shall we say, not properly oriented (no disrespect intended, really).
Catholicism is a “sham” Christian religion. Yeah, I said it because it’s true.. Squalor and poverty follows every American (North and South continents) that cleave to Catholicism.

In actual fact, very few of these “refugees” are really fleeing oppression and wartime conditions that make life intolerable, and as a secondary condition, only a part of them are from either Syria or Iraq, the two areas where the conflict is rampant.
And oddly, very few Christian or Yazidi refugees are making it to Europe, as most of them have either been murdered by the Islamic horde that makes up a majority of the flood of “refugees”, or somehow, they end up in the Mediterranean during the crossing over to Greece.

Correct. You may be Jewish, but you understand papal infalliablity better than a lot of protestants here ("They think their Pope never makes an error!"). You're also much more respectful of other faiths.
