Trump announces boycott; Fox News doubles down on insults

NEW YORK (AP) -- Donald Trump says he's done appearing on Fox News shows for the "foreseeable future" because he doesn't like the network's coverage of his presidential campaign.

The billionaire businessman and leading Republican candidate tweets that Fox News has been treating him "very unfairly" and that he's going to stop appearing on its shows.

But a Fox News spokeswoman says that Trump only announced his boycott after the channel canceled a scheduled Trump appearance on "The O'Reilly Factor" Thursday.

She says in a statement that when coverage doesn't go Trump's way, he engages in personal attacks on Fox anchors and hosts.

She says the behavior has "grown stale and tiresome."

Trump has been feuding with the network since the first GOP primary debate, when he objected to the moderators' questions.

If only Republicans can get back to basics which is being the party of free markets and small government, it might start winning elections again.

Apparently this isn't going to happen, so we might as well elect Donald Trump, along with a proper right-wing Conservative as president and vice-president.

Listened to Foxnews on my radio for a bit yesterday and I don't think Trump's name was even mentioned.

Marching orders have been given to the folks at Foxnews: "If you can't insult him, or say something derogatory about him, don't say his name at all!"

The liberal-'RAT enemedia is exactly like the little North Vietnamese gooks back in the day, they need to be carpet bombed into smithereens, and as Sarah Palin said about Trump "thank God he's running!" because it's Trump at the controls!!

GO Trump GO!

“Trump only announced his boycott after the channel canceled a scheduled Trump appearance on “The O’Reilly Factor” Thursday.”

So what? Maybe that was the final straw.

All the attacks on Mr. Trump began with FOX “News”,
including the “debate” and from Chris Wallace,
Brit Hume, and of course, George Walker Will.

Disgusting network, with gouts of bias for
criminals, foreign governments and tyranny.

In all seriousness the entirety of the Fox News Channel grew stale and tiresome for me a long time ago. Good riddance.

It will be a war of attrition, and Fox will lose.

I bet NASCAR officials could get a better deal from NBC.

“She says the behavior has “grown stale and tiresome.””

Let me translate...........

“She says “we can’t beat you so we’ll silence you and since we are GOPelistist network, no one will ever hear from you again” because ‘we decide and you’ll vote for whoever we tell you to’.

FAUX News appears to have realized that it’s pi$$ing away its conservative audience, so the suck-up to the Left has begun.

It will be interesting to see how that works out for them.
