You seriously believe if Trump hadn’t been in the race and Yeb and/or a few of the other RINOs were leading in the polls and ALL of the issues that matter were being dodged by the GOPe and the GOPe candidates were cowering from continuous attacks by the kommie media, that the handful of conservatives in the House would have come out charging hard against Boehner? I think not. It would have been business as usual for Boehner, pre-Trump.
Trump leading was the first thing I thought of when I heard Boohoo resigned. The writing for RINOs is on the wall.
