It is POSSIBLE that Trump meant to streamline and improve the immigration system when he said “get them in faster”. In other words, fixing the process for all immigrants, not just those previously deported. Which, would, in fact be what Cruz was recommending: fixing the absolutely broken legal immigration system so that greater numbers are allowed in legally.We have quotas for the number of legal immigrants that are allowed into the country every year. I believe we meet that quota limit every year. I don't want an increase. So in that sense, we don't need them "faster" and "greater".
And I disagree with Cruz (who is my favorite candidate) for wanting to increase the legal limit for H1B.
