I would call him Inspector Clouseau Gowdy, but Clouseau actually stumbled across whatever or whomever he was looking for, so I don’t want to insult the good Inspector by comparing him to Trey Gowdy.

No there is not going to be a movement to draft Trey Gowdy. Kevin McCarthy will be the next Speaker of the House. The establishment controls the House and the Senate. Conservatives do not have the power there.
