There are no videos anywhere on the Internet where the lead up to the fight is shown. It just shows this seemingly-helpless kid getting throttled and then a bigger kid knocking out the initial aggressor.

I worked as a bouncer for 3 years, and when you come into a fight, it’s ALWAYS in the middle or the end. Stopping a fight before it happens isn’t as compelling as the stories told by all sides after a fight has been broken up.

Public school socialization consists of primarily two things:

1)Learning how to avoid bullies or accept being their punching bag because you are not allowed to defend yourself.

2)Learning how to march in lock step with socialist mediocrity and get a diploma for reading at a 6th grade level.

If you can’t learn to do these, here’s your prescription for Ritalin.

We home schooled and are damn proud of it. The kid did go to 5th grade. When one of Obama’s daughters was bullying her I told her to wait until no one could see it and then wallop the crap out of the girl. She did, problem solved.

the big disadvantage of Home Schooling is that the kid will miss out on the "socialization" that is available at government schools.

I had a lengthy discussion with a teacher about our homeschooling our son. Her only retort that she was able to defend was that he would not be exposed to bullies, and therefore not know how to deal with one.

Maybe the bully had been harassing the blind kid for a while and the kid finally had enough. I speak from experience here. My daughter was bullied for months with the school doing nothing. Finally my daughter had enough and reacted back. They wanted to arrest and suspend my daughter based on the bully’s friends stories. One brave young man not involved stepped up and told the truth but the principal did not care. My lawyer went to school with me and things were quickly set right and bully went to jail.

The next day we went to private school and never looked back except to eviscerate the school and principal publicly.
I give him the middle finger every time I see him in town.

BS. Poor little Noah felt threatened by a smaller, handicapped kid looking at his girlfriend? Walk away chicken shit. He got what was coming.

I was bullied mercilessly in middle school, so I understand the plight. I was always meek and rarely stirred to anger until the day I was physically struck. I throttled my bully mercilessly until he was bloody and crying, but I was not disciplined. I’d reported my bullying for months. There was a long, consistent record of bullying by this person, and when it was all said and done, the principal let me off with a warning. This was also 20+ years ago. Times have changed.

Again, I don’t condone his actions, but he was taunted. It wasn’t just some innocent handicapped kid being beat up for no reason other than being handicapped. There’s ALWAYS a backstory.

The back story is you know he is handicapped so walk away. You never will win entering into an altercation with a person like that even if you win the physical aspect.

I'd add a third-other people's (our) children get taught by the fine upstanding citizens now coming into schools, to accept perversion and have sodomy and other perversions “normalised” in their minds. Can't teach anything remotely touching Christianity, but they can be taught about sodomy, pre-marital sex, trannies, and other sexual/gender related mental sicknesses that not too many decades ago, even the psychiatrists agreed was mental illness.

New bullying ad campaign: “See something, do nothing”

I offer my thanks to this kid for standing up for whats right. Regardless of any consequences I know he will sleep well with a clean conscience.

If the girl’s story is correct, the “blind” kid deserved a bit of a whooping.

Sounds like the whooping got out of hand, beyond what would be considered normal to stop the aggression and/or teach a lesson to the “blind” kid.

At that point, the guy punching the “bully” was within his bounds imho.

In other news, just heard on the radio that the game of “tag” is now outlawed at a local school.

Yup.

The pro-government schools people will say: "School socialization includes learning the important art of standing up for yourself and dealing with bullies."

I say: Bullies should learn that protected classes always win. Walk away little Bully. Walk away.

This kid is no hero, he is a punk using this situation to punch someone.

Simply telling the kid that you won't tolerate his bullying of another student and threatening to inform school officials would probably suffice. Only after that fails would you consider physical involvement.

You don't teach kids to immediately punch someone in the face and then stand over them asking "what is your f*#king problem, bro?" As this kid was reported as doing.

Yeah I get the fact that the video comes in during the time when a smaller boy who has his hands raised in defense is being pummeled by larger boy who appears to be making multiple blows. Then the hero steps in and cleans the aggressors clock. That is what I see every time I play it back.

I thought bullying was bad. Now it’s the only benefit to public school over homeschooling? I guess they had better cancel all of those anti-bullying programs or everyone will homeschool.

“The best they’ve come up with is to pile on and persecute the innocent kids while the Bullies laugh and wait their turn to get more licks in.”

Actually the goal of bullying in school is to replace the physical bullies with ideological bullies.
