Welcome, Kim. Join in prayer that SCOTUS' illegal and unconstitutional ruling will be reversed. Also, what law did they pass? I must have missed that.

Kim Davis went to jail but the living fetus butchers of Planned Parenthood go about their daily lives, unpunished. This is America, 2015.

Re: 6

Of course you could end up being correct, however I believe you are being overly cynical. If she had a genuine conversion, a 'born again' experience - of course she is a new person.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

If this happened a few years ago, there are a lot of things (and beliefs and actions) in her former life that she would be chucking away like garbage. She said that she and her husband had been talking about leaving the Dem party for a few years -- understanding that it was not compatible to their beliefs. Inertia probably kept her from leaving earlier, but with the latest brouhaha, she figured it was time.
Given the current state of the Republican Party, she probably should have gone Independent, but definitely leave the Democrat Party.

No, but I don’t see the RNC opposing her...

I play in a southern gospel band that goes from church to church in central KY. I moved here after 45 years in Seattle. A LOT of people here are Democrat because that is what they have always been, even though they are politically conservative. It takes a while to abandon your party. It did for me to abandon the republican party.

The lib media will immediately start putting an (R) after her name when they write their smear articles.

Such a coincidence that the "D" key on all of their keyboards went missing at the same time. Maybe it was the same culprit(s) who took all of the "W" keys from the White House prior to GWB's arrival. /s

So now she’s a Republican plant?

Face it. You just don’t like her, her decision to take on the homo’s and her values.

A lot hidden in her background?
Describe what is wrong, because I do not understand.

Inertia keeps me in the Republican Party. I got fed up with their shenanigans (saying one thing, but clearly ruling like supporters of Big Government expansion) a few years ago, but I couldn't figure out how to leave. Thought it would be an easy thing to do over the Internet, but not so. Since California is an Open Primary state - it really doesn't matter, so I haven't pushed it.

Fact is they were always the “bad guys”. Before they were socialists they were psuedo-populist agrarianist morons and slavery pimps.

Yeah, you and several million other folks, lady...

Welcome To The War. And thanks for standing up for your beliefs. It’s sadly lacking these days.

I generally say that a Democrat could be a Christian until around the mid to late 60`s... Ok lets split the difference and say 1960

I dont see it that way at all in this case.

Actually one of my favourite sayings is that the terms “Christian Democrat” and “pro choice Christian” are both oxymoron’s

But I cut her some slack because she has only been a Christian 4 years or so.

I find her very genuine , even though that’s a long 4 years to be part of the anti Christian/pro abortion party

I cant quite understand how anybody would remain a Democrat 1 second after conversion, but still I found her genuine

So now she has become a different kind of democrat. The Republicans are not much different on the issue these days.
