Getting rid of air conditioning is only going halfway. Let’s get rid of heat too.

well, in the summer tour I took two years ago...the public areas weren’t...except for the Sistine Chapel. And boy was that a relief!

I was in Vatican City in July. Here is a picture of the papal apartments. Notice all the windows are closed. It was 110 degrees out at the time of the picture. Since there were no windows open, one can assume that air conditioning was on.
