My spouse was considering converting to Catholicism, but is now very hesitant because of this Pope. Probably won’t happen.

Personally, I’m offended that he came here, exhorting the US and Europe to open their doors to migrants and illegals, but not a word to the secular and religious leaders of the countries those folks are fleeing, exhorting those ‘leaders’ to change their countries to make them more livable, thus keeping their own people at home. Just remove the need for folks to leave their home countries.

10000%...

never mind the fact he’s too much of a coward to tell his homeland Argentina they should be the first to open their doors before anyone else does...then of course there’s vatican city...

i am a practicing Catholic and was fortunate enough to see John Paul II the first time he came to America in 1979; the new guy is a coward and doesn’t come close to JP II, a great leader by example...crap- even Pope Benedict had the courage to call out islam for what they were doing...not this guy.

Do you really think that the leaders of Iran, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Libya, Egypt, Sudan, even heard, and if they did, give a damn about his opinions?????????No wonder Americans are perceived as naive.
