I hear often that it is just a minority of Muslims who support/engage in violence and terror and that the majority of the world's Muslims are peaceful blah blah blah.

Now, that may be true, but no one ever talks about the size of the minority. Take those who actually perform the acts and combine them with those who materially and financially support them and combine that group with those who nod their heads in approval. You may still have a minority of the 1.2 billion, but that minority is a very large group of people.
