Hmmm, six million. That number sounds familiar. Where did I hear that before?
Last night on Fox O’Reilly made the argument with a female pundit that Obamacare has eliminated the need for the non-abortion related “health” services of Planned Parenthood and therefore there is no need for the federal government to give $500 million per year to the organization for non-abortion services.
The liberal female could not formulate an articulate response. She tried to say a prescription would be required to obtain birth control pills under Obamacare, implying falsely a woman could get birth control from PP without a prescription. O’Reilly pointed out a prescription is required, no matter where she goes and Ocare pays for both the physician visit to get the prescription and the filling of the prescription. The best she could come up with is they’ve done good work in the past and some women are “used” to visiting PP for services.
By focusing 100% on the moral issue, conservatives lost this fight in Congress. Most Americans did not see or hear about the Planned Parenthood tapes from the mainstream media. To argue against the proposition federal spending for PP women’s health services is redundant and wasteful now that Ocare is in place, liberals have to admit Obamacare is a failure. After all one of its selling points was providing womens health services at no cost (mammograms, birth control). Either it works or it doesn’t. If Ocare works, it is a waste of tax dollars to provide PP money for health services Ocare covers through other providers.
The financial argument is compelling for those who will not be swayed by morality.
I know people on Twitter and Facebook that post the most ludicrous things to make a point, most are made up. I had one airhead that went on and on that without Planned Parenthood she would have gotten pregnant in HS and had to have an abortion. I reminded her we went to school together, her parents made well into the six figures and that she had bragged in gym class how she was on the pill after graphically explaining her visit to her moms expensive private GYN who also had doctors that gave face lifts in the same office! My post got 100 likes from people that I went to HS with! She then said “well I could imagine that scenario for a poor person”! No one was buying it after her fake impassioned lie!
Ironic how those people who weren’t aborted support PP.
Yea, its also the the equivalent of saying, “Thank God for Texaco, they had gasoline for my car when it was empty!” The implication is obviously that without Texaco, the gas tank could never have been filled.
There is no shortage of healthcare providers, just as there is no shortage of alternative gas stations.

PP and MSNBC (or ANY of them...) is like a tag-team, modern day Goebbels-Mengele propagation of continuous mendacities.
But there many babies who aren’t. And there are women planned parenthood doctors have injured and killed like Tonya Reaves where they had to shell out 2 million to her family. It took seven months to get a release of the autopsy report and there is alot of unanswered questions. Case was not allowed to go to trial but the judge condemned planned parenthood for its incompetence and negligence.
