Look for Obama to butch up, and start bombing the hell out of ISIS in Syria, so as not to be shown up by Putin.
The strikes will be ineffective, mostly blowing up empty desert, but the US Media will portray it as “EPIC!”.

There is a lot of truth to this. The animosity is personal with a lot of influential poofs, and was overt as far back as the Sochi Olympics.
