Russian strikes again expose US disarray

ew York (AFP) - Russia's dramatic entry Wednesday into the Syrian war put the United States on the back foot once again and left Washington struggling to regain the military and diplomatic initiative.

As US Secretary of State John Kerry was in New York trying to coordinate with his Kremlin opposite number Sergei Lavrov, a Russian officer contacted the US embassy in Baghdad.

His message was simple: Russian jets are about to launch air strikes in Syria, please stay out of their way.

Kerry quickly protested to Lavrov that this was not in the spirit of Moscow's promise to agree a "de-confliction" mechanism to ensure Russian flights do not interfere with US-led operations.

But the strikes were already underway, potentially altering the balance of power in Syria back in favor of Bashar al-Assad's regime, and Washington was looking at a fait accompli.

Yes...They told everyone they were going to stabilize the west first and then deal with ISIS. They did (are doing) just that and the idiots in our government are standing around scratching their heads as to why!

It seems that allowing 180,000 muslims with fake IDs is our bigger problem. We have a president who wants to allow the enemy in.

I suspect that Putin is setting up which ever group of Muslims that Iran likes the most.

>>Need to replace them all, not just the President.

Uhuh.

Cluster Fracked ripples of Mr. Flexibles “appointments” are having their intended effect.

Those “Obama” and “Save Tibet” bumper stickers and their yuppy LIFER REMF owners heading out hwy 24 on their way to “work” at NORAD every morning are a real hoot.

Pray for whirled peas.

Just for shits and giggles, Putin should give a briefing on the day's objectives and future strike operations and call out the Russian/Iranian/Chinese/Assad organization as:

Ground Operations Group (GOG), and the Navy/Marine detachment at Tartus and Lattakia as:Marine Assault General Operations Group (MAGOG).

Watch heads explode......or the world.
