Perhaps I am not ‘with it’, but I have questioned the rationale of giving hormones of the opposite sex to teens who are confused about their gender. If a boy feels feminine, why not give him a low dose of testosterone to help him over the teen years until he is more mature? The same would be true for a girl who thinks she should be a boy. Give her a small dose of estrogen until she is older.

I do not understand the rationale of treating a developing adolescent with hormones of the opposite sex. It would just reinforce their confusion. If they decide to go ahead with a transformation, at least they should be legally adults to do so.

It would just reinforce their confusion.

As a good holy friend of mine said recently, when I asked her when she thought the Lord would start raining fire down upon us, "don't you think that the fire has already started in a way....there is so much confusion everywhere."

The comments at the following link are mind-boggling:

Transgenders’ complain that if they don’t get the hormones soon enough, they’ll get the physical changes they don’t want. One said he didn’t want his jaw to grow big. I have no idea if getting the opposite sex’s hormones stops normal physical maturation, but that’s what they’re hoping.
