Not at all. But thoughtless spew is easily identified and is a plague on this board. But, I guess some of us think there is value to it.

It is a plague and there’s no value to it. It drives away good, knowledgeable local commentators (who are repulsed by it and afraid to post here because they might be attacked) and makes us look like vicious freaks to the rest of the world.
