A professor, Amy Fair, who taught in a class that shares a common wall with where the shooting began posted about it on her Facebook wall. She said that "a veteran in her class helped get students out of Snyder hall, but then he ran back inside and she’s worried about him."

With the surname of the first victim (instructor) being "Levine", one wonders if the headshots were intended for Jews and Christians. Also wonder if the vet/hero was armed.

God bless this man. You can take the dog out of the fight, but not the fight out of the dog. (I think I’m mixing up my metaphors, but whatever.) This man’s duty to his fellow-man never stopped. Hopefully he is okay.
Good thing they had a vet there to save lives. Hope he is ok. To think the Waffle House and the British hospital told vets to leave their establishment.
Last year, it was proposed to have more security and arm them but the college president turned that radical idea down.
