very sad....however withdrawing a complaint does not mean it did not happen....it often is just too much of a struggle to get justice in he said/she said incidents which is why most women never press charges or drop them...

I hope she goes to jail and serves the sentence he would have received.
That is what needs to be the penalty for false rape accusations. At a minimum plus defamation/slander judgments.
