You’re only detailing the failure of the liberals to bring about improvement in the lot of a people group that they have subjected to the soft bigotry of low expectations.

No question that the public school system has been involved in dumbing down standards to attempt to hide the achievement gap. That didn't work either. The more able students will find an alternative. The "gifted" programs were wiped out because it wasn't "fair". Those students also found an alternative path to succeed.

The "Stand and Deliver" movie was an example of what can be accomplished when expectations are kept high and both students and teachers make an effort to achieve success. You don't get that kind of result in classrooms full of feral thugs who don't want to be in the room. Decent students and teachers flee from those environments.

the genetic component remains an unalterable contribution.

Only for animals and plants. No IQ genetic component for humans.

Didn't you get the memo?? LOL

I am a security guard at a shipyard. My employer has a 'strict' policy against overtime. In fact the company officially limits employees to 32 hours so that when someone is out sick or quits the slack can be taken up without paying overtime. I have been working 56-64 hours a week for months because of that phenomenon of people hiring on who just expect that their mere presence is sufficient for a check, that that check is their right and anything they do on the job is their voluntary gift to the company. Most don't stay more than long enough to finish training.

The hourly is low and the company thinking is at fault. If they raised the hourly by $1 they would keep more new hires who would actually perform and the total cost of the approximately $1100 per new hire for background checks, drug tests, uniforms, etc, would be immensely reduced. I used to hope for that raise in pay but now prefer it to stay as it is. With another dollar an hour I would be stuck at 32-40 hours a week and much less money. The District Manager and had a conversation about all this. He said finally that an accountant, to get a job at the company needn't know how to add and subtract.
