Putin & Netanyahu: Our ties are getting stronger and stronger
YouTube ^ | 21Sep15 | YouTube

Posted on 10/02/2015 2:42:30 PM PDT by Marie

Please check out this YouTube video of Putin and Netanyahu bonding. They're entering into trade agreements and security agreements.

I'm grateful that Russia is taking Israel under their wing (somebody has to do it), but still sick about the situation.

By the body language alone, both leaders like one another a LOT more than either of them like Obama. Putin actually *smiled!* TWICE. (I didn't know that was possible)

If Israel signs a A Covenant With Death with the antichrist, Putin, and his beast empire,it will mean the start of the end times and the 70th week of Daniel.

I believe Russia is getting overextended, what with their Ukraine entanglement and now Syria. The GDP of Russia is not even equal to that of Italy and depressed commodity prices are playing havoc with their economy. I suspect part of the reason to be in the Middle East is to tighten up world oil supplies by the threat of oil embargoes or an expansion of hostilities. Take out one Saudi oil well and the price of oil doubles overnight.

Get real!!!!!! Russia is arming Iran, building nuclear reactors for Iran and bringing the day closer when Iran will have nuclear bombs and missiles to deliver them to Israel and Arab nations

Netanyahu is just making the best of a horrible situation. Obama is an enemy of Israel so Netanyahu tries to be friendly with Vladimir Putin

Spot on! I hope that BIBI has some discernment about this. When it comes down to it, the reason this issue probably even came about (BIBI having talks with Putin) is because we have a Muzzie traitor in the White Hut. We (our govt) created this vacuum. It was designed by our govt to cause chaos in the region and for the Muslim Brotherhood to wipe Israel off the map in my opinion. If Reagan was pres right now we wouldn’t be having this discussion. Unfortunatley, a lot of us Freepers know from Bible prophecy what is about to happen. It is as you say. Russia will take over the ME. And they want Israel because there is a $hIt load of oil and natural gas that they are sitting on.

“Take out one Saudi oil well and the price of oil doubles overnight.”

Taking out all of Saudi Arabia would be just fine by me... Oil or no oil. Along with all the other countries in the ME except Israel.

Me(ETL): "You mean you don't know or understand that Russia's intentions are to ultimately take over the Middle East and retake Eastern Europe? You don't know that KGB/FSB Putin misses the days of the old Soviet Union? That he wants to basically restore it, or something similar to it? That he believes mass-murderer Stalin deserves status in his honor?"

You(The Ghost of FReepers Past): They do not want to take over Europe. That is just silly. Paranoid even. You are taking historic events and just shaking them up like bingo balls, claiming that is what is going to happen in the future. Things have changed.

Yushchenko: Russia blocking poisoning probe
by Bonnie Malkin and agencies, September 12, 2007

"Mr Yushchenko, a pro-European politician who wanted to bring his country [The Ukraine] out of Russia's shadow, fell seriously ill on September 6, 2004 as he was competing in presidential elections against a pro-Moscow candidate, Viktor Yanukovich, now [2007] prime minister.

After months of tests in an Austrian clinic, it was determined that he had ingested a massive amount of the poison dioxin.

Although he survived, his face was left bloated and pockmarked, and he has had to undergo regular treatment to rid his body of the toxin.

In an interview with Le Figaro he said he believed the dioxin used to disfigure him was made in a Russian lab.

Mr Yushchenko did not directly accuse the Russian government of being behind his poisoning, but he did say he had 'practically put all the pieces together' and the attempt against him 'was not a private action'. ..."

Russia Is Building A Massive Military Base On Ukrainian Border

The Daily Caller ^ | September 10, 2015 | Reuters

Russia is building a military base along the Ukrainian border, signaling its preparing for long-term support of the pro-Russian separatists fighting for Ukraine. The massive base - scheduled for completion in April - will house ammunition depots and barracks for several thousand soldiers, and will be used to train soldiers, reported Reuters. The Reuters reporter investigating the new base was temporarily detained and accused of being a Ukrainian spy. Russian officials didn't respond to Reuters questions about the purpose of the base and whether it's connected to the fight for Ukraine. ..."

Russia Plans Second Big Military Base Near Ukrainian Border
Reuters, via freebeacon.com ^ | September 23, 2015 | Anton Zverev

BOGUCHAR, Russia (Reuters) – Russia is planning a second major military base near the border with Ukraine, where NATO accuses Russian troops of helping pro-Moscow separatists fight Kiev’s forces.

The new base will house 5,000 soldiers and heavy weaponry, according to public documents and people working at the site.

It is further east than one under construction in Belgorod region reported by Reuters earlier this month but still close to the border with separatist-held parts of Ukraine’s eastern Luhansk region, where there has been heavy fighting.

The bases are part of a Russian military buildup along a new line of confrontation with the West, running from the Black Sea in the south to the Baltic in the north, which carries echoes of the Cold War-era “Iron Curtain”.

Russia has also increased its military presence in Syria.

I have seen all your cuts and pastes before. I do not find your “evidence” compelling. I respect your right to differ. Can you post the rest of it to another name so that my ping box does not get too full. I know where to find your response. We have no chance of agreeing.

“They aren’t suddenly friends with Israel.”

Wrong, ETL. I’ve done independent contract work with Israeli companies.

The Israeli and Russian Jews have been working together since the Mediterranean Leviathon natural gas field discovery in 2010. The two countries have mutual economic interests that are nurtured by the Jewish businessmen in both countries. More than 30% of Israelis have Russian heritage. You can’t really believe that these Isreali Jews have no ties to Russia. Jewish heritage goes beyond national boundaries.

I was referring to the Israeli government and Putin's Iran-Hezbollah supporting government. How could they possibly be friendly with a government that arms and defends a country that has repeatedly threatened to wipe them off the map?

Rick Joyner, a Christian pastor, has said that Russia’s economy is heavily dependent on oil revenues, but oil prices are low right now. So Russian wants to ally with other Middle Eastern countries and pressure Saudi Arabia to reduce some of its oil output so oil prices can rise.
