When I posted just the bare cartoon on FB, it got 183 likes and 136 shares in 6 hours. So I knew it was worth wrapping with the stats and explanation.
I saw an interview with the father of a wounded student. He was very emotional. He described the shooting as it was told to him. But the underlying theme to his comments was why did it take so long for someone to respond? I don’t know if he was critical of staff or perhaps, just perhaps, wondering this would have ended far more quickly, and without less carnage, if one of the students was armed.
