Modern men think they want to be loved. Real men want to be respected.

Several years ago my one nephew was feeling his oats a bit and thought that shooting his mouth off to me was a good idea. I told his in a very quiet voice that I would prefer to be respected, but would settled for being feared. He got the message.

When I hit 30, my mother spent some money on a real matchmaker who promised to have me married off within two years.

I just couldn’t care for the men, but didn’t know why, couldn’t put my finger in it.,

My father is a vet, and when I think of someone masculine I think if him.

I just couldn’t find a straight, single guy who had those qualities, so I’m single. I couldn’t be with a pajama boy. My girlfriends, and mom beg me to settle, because I might get lonely, but I can’t do that to myself.

FROM: On the Town SUNG BY: Ann Miller (Claire Hudson) Modern man is not for me,

The movie star or daffer dan,

Give me the healthy glow from ages ago,

A prehistoric man,

What has Gable got for me?

Or Mrs Johnson's blond boy Van?

I want a happy ape with no English trape,

A prehistoric man.

Top hats, bow ties,

He simply wore no ties,

Bare skin, bare skin,

He just sat around in nothing but bare skin,

I really love bare skin.

Some guys care a lot for me,

But my excitement they can't ban,

Because I still await my primitive mate,

We've had a date since the world began,

My prehistoric man.

Don't like no analysis,

He never knew what made him tick,

He never paid, it seems, foretelling his dreams

For prehistoric Dick. Jitter, jitter,

He never had jitter,

No repression,

He just believed in free self expression,

I love self expression.

He had honest calices,

He never worked to pile up dough,

Someone like you and me, no ulcers had he,

Simple and free,

It's a long ago,

For prehistoric dough.

Be bop, be bop,

They didn't have be bop,

Tom toms, tom toms,

They sat all day just a beatin' on tom toms,

I really love tom toms.

“After Miriam helps Comicus, Josephus and Swiftus briefly find refuge in Empress Nympho’s home, Josephus is “outed” among a row of eunuchs after “reacting” to a seductive dancer’s performance, and the group is chased by Roman soldiers led by Marcus Vindictus (Shecky Greene).”

“A 'eunuch' is a man who (by the common definition of the term) may have been castrated, typically early enough in his life for this change to have major hormonal consequences. In some ancient texts, “eunuch” may refer to a man who is not castrated but who is impotent, celibate, or otherwise not inclined to marry and procreate.

Castration was typically carried out on the soon-to-be eunuch without his consent in order that he might perform a specific social function; this was common in many societies. The earliest records for intentional castration to produce eunuchs are from the Sumerian city of Lagash in the 21st century BC.[1][2] Over the millennia since, they have performed a wide variety of functions in many different cultures: courtiers or equivalent domestics, treble singers, religious specialists, soldiers, royal guards, government officials and guardians of women or harem servants.

Eunuch would probably be servants or slaves who, because of their function, had been castrated, usually in order to make them reliable servants of a royal court where physical access to the ruler could wield great influence.[3] Seemingly lowly domestic functions—such as making the ruler’s bed, bathing him, cutting his hair, carrying him in his litter, or even relaying messages—could in theory give a eunuch “the ruler’s ear” and impart de facto power on the formally humble but trusted servant. Similar instances are reflected in the humble origins and etymology of many high offices (e.g., chancellor originally denoted a servant guarding the entrance to an official’s study).

Eunuchs supposedly did not generally have loyalties to the military, the aristocracy, or to a family of their own (having neither offspring nor in-laws, at the very least), and were thus seen as more trustworthy and less interested in establishing a private ‘dynasty’. Because their condition usually lowered their social status, they could also be easily replaced or killed without repercussion. In cultures that had both harems and eunuchs, eunuchs were sometimes used as harem servants (compare the female odalisque) or seraglio guards.[citation needed]”

Having a blinker on is a good practice to keep other drivers on their toes. I am just making sure that everyone stays alert as a public service. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it but you can borrow it if you want.
