Russian warplanes began bombing American-backed Syrian opposition strongholds on Wednesday, a move that can be viewed as the latest example of American humiliation abroad.
This all comes on the heels of President Barack Obama's drawing of a "red line" regarding the use of chemical weapons, only to back down when the Assad regime – by most accounts – used them. This past week, White House press secretary Josh Earnest strained credulity when he said Mr Obama doesn't regret drawing that red line.

Obama’s hatred for America is as obvious to Putin as it is to most of us.
I look at it like this. When Obama told Romney that the 80's called and wanted their foreign policy back that was Obama being cool (in the eyes of himself and his sycophants).
I'm sure Putin saw that and realized just how weak Obama was at that moment. If, in order to get over on your opponent you have to resort to weak and cheap sarcasm you've lost.
Probably not in the eyes of a Kardashian-obsessed homo-hipster culture. Who value style and "being cute" over substance. But to a man with a modern military and nuclear weapons at his disposal, you do.
What the Russians see and, if Debka reports are to be believed, the Chinese as well is that for all practical purposes Obama is supporting ISIS. I happen to agree with that position based on the Tried and True Principle: Actions Speak Louder Than Words.
Obama says he is against ISIS. It sure doesn’t look like it to me. Does anybody actually believe that anymore? I don’t. ISIS continues to grow in power and has now, along with the Syrian “moderate rebels” that include al Qaeda fighters has become a serious threat to Assad. Enter the Russians to protect their vital interests which include a naval base on the Northern coast of Syria. This is surprising? This is unanticipated? I don’t think so.
Because he has a command presence.

I think that timing by Putin is in play here. He is watching Trump’s rise in the polls and the resulting effects it is having with Obama’s decisions or should I say “ his muslim adviser’s decisions”.
Like Trump says, I’m watching and waiting to see the outcome of Putin’s actions. We are so information starved that it’s difficult for anyone to understand who is who.
