Essentially, amnesty is big government’s dream come true to prop up the ponzi scheme of Social Security for 3 more generations. Think of the sheer revenue generating power of 70-100 million more unskilled labor payroll employees. They will prop things up for a while... and when that dries up... then we can lower the employment age and bring back child labor... and skim a cut from them, so they can pay more in before they collect at 100 years old.
But that won’t work. I talked to a guy a few weeks ago that did major construction projects(road work, big pipe, etc). Told me that they used to be able to lay a few hundred feet of pipe a day. Now, they’re lucky if they get a hundred or two. The black guys simply refuse to work. If they’re approached about anything, they threaten to sue and everyone leaves them alone. So, of course I asked about the Mexicans. He said that up until a couple of years ago, they could be counted on to do all the work. But, now, they’re no better than they black guys. They’ll sue or just live off the benefits that their wife is getting because they had a kid in an American hospital.
No one wants to work anymore. And if you do, it really isn’t worth it because the government take so damn much to support the moochers.
