Ohio lawmakers looking to extend a freeze on state “green energy” mandates will have to find a way past Gov. John Kasich.

Kasich immediately shot down as “unacceptable” a legislative study committee’s Wednesday recommendation the state extend its current two-year mandate freeze indefinitely.

When Kasich signed Senate Bill 310 last year, he agreed to pause the phase-in of energy efficiency and alternative electricity generation mandates adopted in 2008 — and to create the Energy Mandates Study Committee, whose guidance he seems set on ignoring.

Not just a tax increase. It’s more insidious than that.

If you look at every one of these “green” initiatives,
they can easily be shown to be simply a money laundering scheme

out of the pockets of taxpayers and into the pockets of democrats.

Why don’t he and Bernie team up? They’d make a great couple and Kaysick could finally be what he’s always wanted to be - a Democrat.

Does Kasich really think that Compassionate Conservatism version 2.0 is going to sell to the Republican base? Because between this and his comments on Welfare, that’s what he’s selling.

Because computer models are a way bigger threat than cultural decay, corruption at the highest levels, and Isis at the gate.

One can't help but wonder how many of Kasich's corporate sponsors will benefit from "green energy" contracts and mandates.

Meanwhile, localities are being starved of the money needed to provide necessary services.

There’s a real conservative idea for you. Let’s have more of the two most expensive forms of energy on the planet!

Worse than that, the whole evil thing is central planning, a horror that’s been a catastrophe for every country that’s tried it, starting with the Soviet Union and Communist China.

Several months ago Bret Baier gave Kasich a very polite and professional interview where he basically let the man talk and describe his world view. After that I knew he was a wannabe socialist and dropped him as a potential candidate. This just proves I was right.
