I’m tired of so-called conservatives who ‘talk the talk’ to get elected then get to DC and do NOTHING.
If the definition of a conservative is the equivalent of a second year college student reading off a focus tested list of things conservatives believe - then I’m outta here...
Trump says he’ll build a wall. I believe he’s capable of doing that...
Trump says he’ll stop illegals. I believe he can do that.
Trump says he’ll make better trade deals. I believe he has the skills to do that.
Trump says he’ll protect the vets and make sure they get the medical care they deserve. He knows how to make companies work - he has the skills to do this.
Trump says he’ll protect our Second Ammendment Rights. I believe him.
Trump says he’ll protect Social Security for people who have work their whole lives and contributed to the system. He will do this...
So I don’t really care if he’s a ‘text book’ conservative who can mouth the Republican mantra. If he’s not a ‘true conservative’ - fine. Don’t care. If he stops illegals and protects our borders he can run under any banner he wants to...
I think this has been said before. He may not be a textbook conservative, but he is an unapologetic American in the best sense of the word.
Amen. If he’ll do all that, who care whether he carries the label ‘conservative’ or not.
Trump, if elected, will have his reputation on the line. And to him that is everything. If he only solves immigration he will have taken a big step towards saving our republic.
Anything else he does is gravy.
