Looks like authorities are looking for two,maybe three, Asian males. Anything's possible, but for now I would assume it was a fight that went very bad.

He is one lucky man...sounds like it could have been far more serious.

“Asian males”... Usually when I think of Asian, I think of Chinese, Japanese, or Korean.
Typically when thanks PC uses it they mean Pakistani, or even someone from the Middle East.
