I am as conservative as most freepers. I am as much for free trade as most freepers.

But the idea that we should close the ex/im bank while other countries subsidize their industry and then scream “bring back our jobs”, is just economic suicide.

I agree with free trade when it is two way not one way.

We should impose a tariff equivalent to the subsidy received by these foreign businesses in their respective countries.
