It's a Wonderful Life, today's California is essentially run how Potter would think the state should be run if he owned it.
There would be only one voice. The media also owned by Potter would print or broadcast only news, articiles, and commentaries that supported his views.
This is the example they used to teach us in civics never to adopt.
