The Kremlin says its primary goal is to help President Bashar al-Assad fight Islamic State militants. But the United States and others have accused it of acting to try to prop up Assad and of targeting other rebel groups instead.

Regardless of Russia's primary goal, it's impossible for Syria to effectively fight the ISIS terrorists if they are simultaneously losing to Obama's pet terrorists. I'm hoping Russia succeeds. Europe would be better off without the young, fit, male so-called refugees from the Syrian war. Syria's Christians would be better off without the rebels on both sides who are wiping them out.

Christian communities have been in Syria continuously for just under 2,000 years. It would be a shame if, after surviving Roman persecutions, Mohamed's conquest, the Crusades, and the rest of their history, they were finally wiped out by Obama's hatred for civilization.

Maybe the point should be that when nations that have a Christian heritage unite, they defeat the forces of evil.

Why THE HECK are we on the side of Saudi Arabia, which had the worse record for tolerance and protection of Christians and other minorities? We should accept no nation or leader as an ally that does not protect all of its citizens.
