We should withdraw ALL military assets from SF I believe we have. The Presidio and Treasure Island were both closed years.
The city also changed the name of "Army Street" to "Cesar Chavez Street". The decision was as much to eliminate "Army" as it was to honor Chavez (other streets would have been a better choice and not as costly).

I saw Cesar Chavez speak when I was a college student in Los Angeles MANY years ago.
Many people probably don’t know it, by Chavez was opposed to illegal immigration.
